RW writes, after getting the first PECO bill.

Its a mixed bill with 106 kwh from the old meter (which we were driving backwards), 548 kwh coming into the house on the new meter, and 173 kwh going back out to the grid.  The billed total was 481 kwh compared to a 5-year average of 1674 kwh for August.  Last August, our highest usage month, we used 578 kwh; this year the total was 242 kwh, a 58% reduction.   The production is low on cloudy days, but so is usage,so it balances out.  On sunny days we are producing over 30 kwh per day, but using most of it.  So, I would say the sysem is working very well, even better than I expected.         GREAT JOB!  RW
